<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To correct non-uniformity or asymmetry of an image size caused by processing or assembling accuracy in an electronic platemaking machine. <P>SOLUTION: The electronic platemaking machine is equipped with a laser scanning unit which can move along the main scanning direction and a feed roll which is disposed facing the laser scanning unit and synchronously feeds a master sheet in the sub scanning direction. In this machine, the image size is varied by changing the period of dot clocks in accordance with the position of the laser scanning unit or the scanning position of the laser beam so as to correct the non-uniformity or asymmetry of the image size. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
