<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a highly safe lithium-ion secondary battery superior in internal short circuit safety and heating safety. <P>SOLUTION: This is a lithium-ion secondary battery equipped with a positive electrode consisting of a compound lithium oxide, a negative electrode consisting of a material capable of storing and releasing lithium electrochemically, a separator, a non-aqueous electrolytic solution, and a porous membrane which is formed at least on one surface of the both electrodes and made of mainly inorganic oxide filler and composed of this and a binder. The active material of the positive electrode is a lithium-contained compound oxide as expressed by Li<SB>a</SB>(Co<SB>1-x-y</SB>Mg<SB>x</SB>M<SB>y</SB>)<SB>b</SB>O<SB>c</SB>(wherein, M is at least one kind selected from Ni and Al, 0≤a≤1.05, 0.005≤x≤0.15, 0≤y≤0.25, 0.85≤b≤1.1, and 1.8≤c≤2.1). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
