摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a material mainly composed of a magnetite and improved in heat resistance, water resistance, heat conductivity characteristic and electromagnetic wave absorption characteristic than the current magnetite manufactured by a wet method or a dry method. <P>SOLUTION: This iron oxide composite particle is a three-component one comprising not less than 45 mass% magnetite (Fe<SB>3</SB>O<SB>4</SB>), and the balance a wustite (FeO) and a metal iron (&alpha;Fe). This particle can be manufactured by a method in which a hematite (Fe<SB>2</SB>O<SB>3</SB>) having an average particle diameter of 0.1-5.0 &mu;m is reduced at a temperature of 500-700&deg;C while keeping a fluidized condition and then rapidly cooled. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
