<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a contents transmission control method and an apparatus therefor for ensuring high reliability of switching control of distribution paths and warranting contents outputted on the occurrence of momentary interruption in response to path characteristics or in a distribution path switching state even in the case of one-time-only contents distribution. <P>SOLUTION: A transmission station 10 includes: channel determination sections 102, 104 for determining disabled contents distribution within a prescribed time or over on the basis of a reception state signal from an own-station reception state signal reception section 101 or an other-station reception state signal reception section 103; and a contents transmission section 105 that selects the same contents distribution path in the case of disabled distribution within the prescribed time, temporarily stores contents to be distributed in a disabled distribution state, starts the distribution of the contents not distributed in the disabled distribution state after recovery to a contents disabled state, or switches the present path into a distributable line type or distribution path in the case of disabled distribution for the prescribed time or over, temporarily stores contents to be distributed during the switching processing, and starts distribution of the contents not distributed in the disabled distribution state after the end of switching. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
