<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible to suppress redundancy of attribute information included in still image data encoded separately in video image data composed by arranging the still image data separately encoded independently in order of time series. <P>SOLUTION: The apparatus is provided with a header discriminator 112 which discriminates the attribute information common to all still image data out of attribute information attached to respective still image data included in the video image data, and a common header information creator 114 which deletes the common attribute information specified from the still image data and adds it to the attribute information of the video image data. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
