PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coil component which prevents a lead-out of lead wire from abutting with a plate-like core. SOLUTION: The coil component is provided with a drum type core and a plate-like core 3. A drum type core is provided with a wind core which connects a pair of flanges and a pair of flanges. Two electrodes are provided in the flanges, respectively. At one side wall where electrodes are provided in a U-shape, one end or the other end of the lead wire wound around the wind core is fixed and joined. The part of a lead taken out from the side wall forms a lead-out. At the position between two electrodes of a pair of flanges, the electrode absence part is provided for separating lead wires respectively by a predetermined gap, so that the position of a projection part 3A corresponding to one end and the other end of the plate-like core 3 may be fixed respectively to the absence part. At the position of the projection 3A opposite to the lead-out, recesses 3a, 3b are formed and estranged from the lead-outs for making a noninterference. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
