PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a review support device that facilitates the creation, maintenance, and management of a check list, while making it possible to efficiently conduct design reviews. SOLUTION: The review support device includes a standard check item storage means for storing a plurality of standard check items for use in the review of software; an input means for inputting information on the functional specifications of software to be developed, design stage information available at the design stage of the software, and test information for use in the test of the software, as input information; a check item extraction means for extracting the check items necessary for the review of the software by collating the standard check items with the input information; and a check item storage means for storing the check items extracted by the check item extraction means.
