PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lens drive capable of suppressing the quantity of sliding powder generated when a lens holder is slid and capable of centering a lens on a photographing position. SOLUTION: The lens drive 1 has a guide part 27e which is engaged with an engagement part 12c formed on the lens holder 10 to guide the direct-acting operation of the lens holder 10 along an optical axis 11, and on a half-way position up to the abutting of the lens holder 10 on a movement limit in the optical axis 11 direction, the lens holder 10 is movably guided and slid by the guide part 27e, and on a wide angle photographing position abutted on an abutting part 27h which is a movement limit of the lens holder 10 to the image pickup side and on a telephotographic position abutted on an abutting part 29a which is a movement limit to the subject side, the movement of the lens holder 10 in a diameter direction is regulated by respective regulation parts 27j, 29c to position the lens holder in the diameter direction.
