PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To create transmission wave pulses capable of making compatible (1) satisfactory reception amplitude and (2) the facilitation of comparison and analysis of transmission waveforms. SOLUTION: Transmission wave pulses of ultrasonic waves are made incident onto an analyte W. The transmission wave pulses for measuring or inspecting the analyte W by comparing the waveform of received waves received by a probe 9 with the waveform of the transmission wave pulses and analyzing it are created by modulating the amplitude of trignometric function waves of sine waves or cosine waves with normal distribution function waves.
