PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an internal combustion power generation device using cooling water tanks as a sound absorbing structure and appropriately improving sound insulating properties. SOLUTION: This internal combustion power generation device is provided with a power generation package main body 1 wherein an engine 11 for driving a power generator is stored and the cooling water tanks 15A, 15B, 15C storing cooling water for cooling the engine 11. The cooling water tanks 15A, 15B, 15C are arranged between the engine 11 and side wall face parts 1a, 1b, 1c, 1d of the power generation package main body 1 so as to extend along the side wall face parts 1a, 1b, 1c, 1d of the power generation package main body 1, and a heat exchanger 19 for cooling cooling water in a cooling water system for cooling the engine 11 by cooling water stored in the cooling water tanks 15A, 15B, 15C is provided.
