<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the time and labor of assembling an optical pickup device for recording and/or reproducing information in/from three kinds of optical information recording media by combining three luminous fluxes of different wavelengths with two objective lenses. <P>SOLUTION: A first objective lens OBJ1 is subjected to image height priority designing with respect to luminous fluxes from first and second semiconductor lasers LD1 and LD2, and a second objective lens OBJ2 is subjected to image height priority designing with respect to a luminous flux from a third semiconductor laser LD3. Thus, the objective lenses OBJ1 and OBJ2 have low coma adjusting sensitivity with respect to the tilting of an incident luminous flux caused by the shifting of the semiconductor laser. On the other hand, coma adjusting sensitivity is high with respect to the tilting of the objective lenses OBJ1 and OBJ2. Thus, by accurately adjusting the tilting of the objective lenses OBJ1 and OBJ2, a coma aberration is suppressed in a spot in which a luminous flux is converged on the information recording surface of the optical disk even when a luminous flux from any semiconductor laser is used. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
