RECORDER, PROGRAM, STORAGE MEDIUM, AND OPTICAL RECORDING MEDIUM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible to form an image in an optical recording medium by selecting appropriate information so that a user can understand the contents of a program recorded within a limited printing range.

SOLUTION: The recorder 1 is provided with an optical recorder 5 for optically recording information in the optical recording medium, and a thermal recorder 6 for forming an image in a heat sensitive recording medium formed in the optical recording medium. When the moving image of a TV broadcast program is recorded in the optical recording medium by the optical recorder 5, information regarding a program recorded by the optical recorder is obtained from TV broadcast information such as TV broadcast itself or an electronic program guide, information held by the recorder 1, or information recorded in the optical recording medium. Then, the information is formed into an image in the heat sensitive recording medium formed in the optical recording medium by the thermal recorder 6.
