<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an Mn-Zn based ferrite member, superior in productivity, and having a high pressure resistance, low loss and superior DC superposition characteristics. <P>SOLUTION: The Mn-Zn base ferrite member is equipped with a surface layer unit, having characteristics such as ρ5≥10<SP>3</SP>Ωm and ρ50≤10<SP>2</SP>Ωm, while ρ5 and ρ50 are defined as ρ5: (R0-R1)S/10 (Ωm) and ρ50: (R2-R3)S/20 (Ωm). In this case, R0 (Ω): the value of resistance between electrodes formed on the whole surfaces of the first surface and the second surface of a measuring sample A (here, the measuring sample A is a specimen extracted from the Mn-Zn base ferrite member). R1 (Ω): the value of resistance between electrodes respectively formed on the whole surfaces of a polished surface and the second surface, after polishing the first surface by 10 μm. R2 (Ω): the value of the resistance between electrodes, respectively formed on the whole surfaces of the polished surface and the second surface after polishing the first surface by 40 μm. R3 (Ω): the value of resistance between electrodes, respectively formed on the whole surfaces of the polished surface and the second surface, after polishing the first surface by 60 μm. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
