<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology of decreasing packets of routing objects for a relaying apparatus so as to suppress a load imposed by routing thereby enhancing the stability and the transmission efficiency of the relaying apparatus. <P>SOLUTION: The relaying apparatus is characterized in to include: a means for selecting VoIP packets arrived within a prescribed period and whose transmission destination IP address is the same (hereinafter the same transmission destination IP address is called a "common transmission destination IP address".); a means for extracting media information from the respective selected VoIP packets; a means for generating a VoIP packet using the common transmission destination IP address for a transmission destination IP address and including each extracted media information; and a means for carrying out the routing for the generated VoIP packets in place of the selected VoIP packets. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
