<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a DTMF tone signal corresponding to a depressed button of an IP telephone terminal to reach a speech opposite party even when the IP telephone terminal is not provided with a function of transmitting the DTMF tone signal. <P>SOLUTION: When a DTMF tone signal transmission request signal detection section 103d of a proxy 103 detects a DTMF tone signal transmission request signal inserted to an RTP packet or a packet in compliance with the SIP received from the IP telephone terminal and a DTMF digit signal included in the transmission request signal, a DTMF tone signal generating section 103e generates a DTMF tone signal corresponding to the DTMF digit signal. A voice encoder 103f encodes the DTMF tone signal similarly to the case with a voice signal. An RTP payload replacement section 103g replaces the voice signal in a payload of the RTP packet into the encoded DTMF tone signal. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
