<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a management method of network traffic wherein matter of the conventional method is eliminated. <P>SOLUTION: In this method, IP network, which consists of nodes connected by an IP link which communicates traffic, is prepared and supervises the IP network regarding convergence. If convergence is detected, in order to perform re-routing, label switching path (LSP) of the IP network is selected. Regarding the LSP selected between a first and a second nodes, hybrid path root (HPR) is computed. The HPR has an optical path of wavelength division multiplexing (WDM) topology connected to the IP network. It is decided whether performance of the HPR, regarding the selected LSP reduces cost. When cost is reduced, a new IP link is activated in each of optical paths of the WDM topology, and re-routing is performed in accordance with the HPR. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
