PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To securely transfer information between a first command transmitter and a second command transmitter such as those employed for remote control of actuators employed in home automation systems for example for illumination, opening/closing windows, solar protection, ventilation, air conditioning, and the like. SOLUTION: A method for transferring information between a first bidirectional command transmitter (40) and a second bidirectional command transmitter (50) comprises: authenticating the first bidirectional command transmitter (40) with respect to a third bidirectional command object (30, 60); transferring information from the first bidirectional command transmitter (40) to the second bidirectional command transmitter (50) when the authentication has succeeded; and storing the information in the second bidirectional command transmitter (50).
