PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a non-irritating detergent composition excellent in foamability, detergency to the grime by sebaceous matter, and feeling of use giving a fine touch. SOLUTION: This detergent composition comprises an N-acyl aspartic acid type surfactant which is mainly composed of an N-acyl asparatic acid or a salt thereof, and a cationic polymer.
