PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light emitting device, a manufacturing method thereof, and an electronic apparatus equipped with the light emitting device whereby the influence of heat can be restrained, and a thickness can be reduced. SOLUTION: This light emitting device is provided with a light emitting element 3, and a sealing layer 4 airtightly sealing the light emitting element 3.
