PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To inexpensively manufacture a pin terminal for a glow plug, furthermore, the glow plug. SOLUTION: In this method of manufacturing the pin terminal 10 connected with a rod-shaped axis 7 projecting to a rear end side of the glow plug for distributing the power from the external to a heater 5 at a tip end side through the axis 7, the pin terminal 10 is manufactured by plastic working of a work made out of conductive metal.
