PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To install a supercharger lubricating oil return pipe compactly, save space and improve lubricating oil return performance in a lubricating oil return pipe device for an internal combustion engine. SOLUTION: A lubricating oil pressure regulating valve 21 is fixed on the front surface lower part of a cylinder block 2. A supercharger lubricating oil return passage 24 is bored in the lubricating oil pressure regulating valve 21 in parallel with a pressure regulated oil discharge passage 23 to make oil returning from a supercharger 5 discharged into the cylinder block 2 while passing through the supercharger lubricating oil return passage 24 via the supercharger lubricating oil return pipe 22. The pressure regulated oil discharge passage 23 and the supercharger lubricating oil return passage 24 are formed in shapes generating negative pressure near an outlet of the supercharger lubricating oil return passage 24 and generating a suction force in the supercharger lubricating oil return passage 24 by the flow of lubricating oil passing through the pressure regulated oil discharge passage 23 installed in parallel, to demonstrate a suction effect of return oil from the supercharger 5.
