PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve the further reduction of noise by reducing a fluid sound and by reducing a solid transmission sound caused by the vibration of a motor and the like. SOLUTION: An axial fan comprises a propeller 1, a motor 2 driving the propeller 1 and a Venturi 4 formed on the outer periphery side of the propeller 1 and having a bell-mouth section 7 on an inner peripheral surface side through which an air flow generated by the rotation of the propeller 1 passes. The bell-mouth section 7 has a suction portion 10 curvedly reduced in diameter in the flowing direction of the air flow, a cylinder 11 having a cylindrical shape and a discharge portion 12 taperingly enlarged in diameter at an expanding angle of about 30°in the flowing direction of the air flow.
