PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a spacer for a reinforcement, which can discriminate two or more thickness values of cover concrete from each other and is applicable to each case without an error. SOLUTION: The spacer for a reinforcement is formed of a rectangular concrete block (B) having four side surfaces selectively brought into contact with a form panel (M) for molding a concrete structure by turning the direction every 90 degrees, and having a predetermined thickness (t). Then corner portions of the spacer defined by the four side surfaces are each shaped into a convex curve (2), while at least two of the side surfaces adjacent to each other are each collapsed as an engaging concave curve (1) for the reinforcement (A), and an interval from a bottom of each concave curve to one side surface opposed to the same is set to each of thicknesses (D1) to (D4) of the cover concrete for the reinforcement, which include two or more different values. Herein one flat surface (5) of the concrete block has collapsed numerals (G) shaped therein at locations each corresponding to the bottom of the reinforcement engaging concave curve, simultaneously with molding of the concrete block per se. Each numeral simply indicates the thickness value of the cover concrete for the reinforcement. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
