PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polyolefin composite material whose heat distortion temperature, impact resistance, and rigidity are well balanced and are all achieved at a high level, a method for producing the polyolefin composite material, and a molded product obtained by melt forming the polyolefin composite material. SOLUTION: The polyolefin composite material comprises a polyolefin-based resin, an onium-modified low molecular weight polyolefin-based resin containing an organic onium group as a functional group and having a number average molecular weight of 500-30000, and a layered clay mineral.
