摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an Fe-Ni based shadow mask material in which occurrence of roll marks is suppressed and surface characteristics are improved. SOLUTION: The Fe-Ni based shadow mask material has a composition consisting of, by mass, 35 to 37% Ni,≤0.01% C,≤0.05% Si,≤0.5% Mn,≤15 ppm S, 0.010 to 0.035% Al, 0.0015 to 0.0040% Mg,≤20 ppm O and the balance substantially Fe and satisfying Al/Mg≥5. It is preferable that the value of Al/Mg ranges from 7 to 15 or further Al, Mg and O are made to be 0.015 to 0.025%, 0.0015 to 0.0030% and≤10 ppm, respectively.
