PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a seedling transplanter with which the following problem is settled; that conventional transplanters have, at side wards of the seedling planting device, no screen between the seedling planting device and an operator and have fear of an operator walking at the side of the seedling-planting device in seedling planting work to contact with the seedling planting device. SOLUTION: The walking type seedling transplanter has a control lever 8 at the rear of a frame 15 extending backward from a transmission gear 3 for transmitting to right and left running wheels 5 and has a seedling planting device 6 for planting seedlings on the fields at the side of the frame 15. A seedling-supplying turntable 28 for dropping and supplying seedlings, supplied by hand one by one, to a planting cup 6a of the seedling planting device 6 is set at the upper side of the planting cup 6a of the seedling planting device 6, and the frame 15 is set at the side of the planting cup 6a positioned at seedling planting position C.
