The absorber has a piston rod (5) traversing a casing (7) from an upper bottom (9) until a lower bottom (11) of the casing in which is disposed an axially movable separator piston (13). The piston divides the casing into two working compartments, where one of the compartments is connected to a pumping chamber of a cylinder. The rod extends beyond the two bottoms to the exterior of the casing, and a piston (19) is connected to the rod.
