<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an airflow meter for an air conditioner capable of measuring exactly an air blow rate of a fan, even in a centrifugal fan for blowing air while blowing the air outside with centrifugal force such as a plug fan and a limit load fan. <P>SOLUTION: In this airflow meter for the air conditioner, the fan chamber for the air conditioner using the centrifugal fan is provided with a skirt-like inlet cone having a constricted part arranged in an air suction side of the fan, one side differential pressure detecting hole on a wall face in the minimum inside diameter of the constricted part of the inlet cone, and the other side differential pressure detecting hole in a desired position of a supply air chamber adjacent to an air suction side opening of the inlet cone, a differential pressure gage is connected to the both differential pressure detecting holes via a pipe, and a scale of the differential pressure gage is formed into a scale substituted with an air volume. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
