摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a self-luminous display device capable of reducing flickers and suppressing power consumption, and to provide a driving method therefor. <P>SOLUTION: The self-luminous display device 10 relating to this invention is driven by a "passive matrix system". This self-luminous display device 10 is provided with a display panel 20 comprising N lines (N is a natural number) of scanning lines X<SB>1</SB>to X<SB>N</SB>. Then, these N lines of scanning lines X<SB>1</SB>to X<SB>N</SB>include 1st scanning lines and 2nd scanning lines to be driven following these 1st scanning lines.
