<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To quickly manufacture a golf club-head with a forging while utilizing a blank by firstly manufacturing the blank with a casting and forming a prefabricated bending part in the blank, regarding the forging blank for golf club-head. <P>SOLUTION: In the blank manufactured with the casting system, at least one of prefabricated bending part is arranged in this blank and the head part and a hosel part are connected with respective both end parts of the prefabricated bending part of the blank. When the forging is applied, the deformed quantity can be reduced with the prefabricated bending part of the blank and at the same time, chip hole on the surface of the blank of filled up so as to be clogged. This manufacturing method is firstly manufactured to the blank and in the blank, at least one of prefabricated bending part is arranged and thus, when the forging is applied by utilizing the blank, since the probability developing the crazing caused by excessive bending can be reduced with the prefabricated bending while obtaining the consideration to the surface property and the structural strength of the head product and also, the manufacturing process is further quickened, and the forged quality is improved and the range of selection to the material can be widened. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
