<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a menu display device, a menu display method, a program for menu display method, and a recording medium for recording the program for menu display method, in which deterioration of visibility can be effectively avoided with a simple structure even in case of displaying a menu on a low-resolution display device with a small screen, for example, in application to an audio device for accumulating and reproducing a large quantity of music contents. <P>SOLUTION: The display mode of menus is switched between a normal display mode and an enlarged display mode according to the display device.
