<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an uninterruptible power supply of permanent commercial power supply system in which voltage waveform being supplied from an inverter 6 to a load 8 is stabilized when switching is made from a commercial power supply 1 to the inverter 6 immediately after power interruption. <P>SOLUTION: A UPS switch 7 is switched such that AC power is supplied, as it is, from a commercial power supply 1 to a load 8 when power supply is not interrupted and supplied from the inverter 6 to the load 8 when power supply is interrupted. For a predetermined time when the UPS switch 7 is switched from the commercial power supply 1 side to the inverter 6 side immediately after power interruption, the inverter 6 is subjected to drive control by false feedback through a false inverter circuit 12.
