<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a precursor mesenchymal stem cell differentiating to mesenchymal stem cell and obtained by differentiating from a pluripotent stem cell in vitro, and method for the purification and preparation of the cell. <P>SOLUTION: The precursor mesenchymal stem cell is produced by (a) a step to culture and differentiate a pluripotent stem cell and (b) a step to select and separate a cell exhibiting Sox1 which is a neuroectoderm marker. The mesenchymal stem cell effective for selecting a cell positive to platelet-derived growth factor (PDGFRα) and negative to fetus liver kinase 1 (FLK1) is produced by culturing the precursor mesenchymal stem cell. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
