<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a paper conveying device having an effective means for preventing double feeding, particularly accompany-feeding in which preceding paper and a part of the following paper are overlappedly fed without adding a large scale mechanism such as air blowing to a conventional paper feed device. <P>SOLUTION: In the paper conveying device in the image formation device such as an electronic photographic system, a paper feed roller 3 for feeding out the paper 2 from a paper piling up part 1; a separation means 5 for separating the paper 2 to one sheet; and paper conveying means 6, 8 for conveying the paper 2 provided in a downstream of the paper feed roller 4 are provided. An accompany-feeding detection sensor 7 for determining existence of the paper 2 is provided in a paper conveying passage 17 on and after the separation means 5. When the paper is continuously conveyed, an output signal of the accompany-feeding detection sensor 7 is confirmed at the timing expected that a rear end of the preceding paper passes through the accompany-feeding detection sensor 7. At this time, when the accompany-feeding detection sensor 7 detects "existence of the paper", paper conveying speed of the paper conveying means 6 provided in an upstream than the accompany-feeding detection sensor 7 is delayed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
