PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for removing minute defects in a thin film solar battery that eliminates a risk of characteristic deterioration due to damage to the solar cell surface, cuts the increasing cost and requires neither additional troubelsome process nor complex mechanism.
SOLUTION: Under the condition that the + terminal 15a and the - terminal 15b of an amorphous solar battery module 11 have been short-circuited, a blocking plate 14 having no optical transparency lightly touches or leaves the surface of the amorphous solar battery module 11 and is moved from an point Ea to another point Eb continuously along the series connection direction L of unit cells M1. As the result, the voltage of unit cells subject to light radiation is applied to one unit cell with light blocked as a reverse bias voltage. By moving the blocking plate 14, the reverse bias voltage is applied to the other unit cells sequentially, and minute defects in each cell can be removed consequently.
COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
|
