PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a designing device for building lightning protection equipment that can quickly and easily define a protective region of the lightning protection equipment and a part to be repaired.

SOLUTION: Building information including shape information related to the shape of a building being an objected to be diagnosed and the lightning protection equipment installed at the building is input from a data input part 11 at an input part 10. A building model information creating part 20 creates building model information that is the model of the building on the basis of the shape information included in the input building information. Protection range information by which the building model information creating part 20 indicates a range where the building is protected by the lightning equipment on the basis of the building model information and the lightning equipment information included in the building information is created on the basis of a protection angle method or a rotating sphere method.
