<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely and efficiently perform terminal processing of a coaxial cable. <P>SOLUTION: An outer insulation layer 5 is cut at a first position and the cut part of the cut outer insulation layer part is drawn out. The outer insulation layer remaining on a coaxial cable is cut at a second position closer to the central side of the cable and the cut outer insulation layer part 5b is moved to the terminal side. Outer conductors 4 exposed to the forward end side and the reverse side of the moved outer insulation layer part 5b in the moving direction are bonded with adhesives or filler metals 6. Subsequently, the moved outer insulation layer part 5b is pushed back to the vicinity of a position before the outer insulation layer is cut, and a part of the outer conductor 4 moved together with the outer insulation layer part 5b is bent to project radially outward. The part projecting radially outward of the bent outer conductor is then cut off. The cut outer insulation layer part 5b is drawn out to the terminal side together with the cut outer conductor 4, and the remaining exposed outer conductors 4 are bonded collectively with the filler metals. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
