PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inkjet apparatus which can effectively remove a foreign matter such as a denatured substance of ink itself or an aggregate of a pigment, and is suitable for improving the discharging stability of a head. SOLUTION: In the inkjet apparatus, printing is carried out by feeding ink from an ink tank 14 via a middle tank 16 into a distributor 15, distributing and feeding the ink in the distributor 15 from the distributor 15 to a plurality of heads 61a coupled with the distributor 15, and discharging the ink from the plurality of heads. A shutter plate 22 is set in the distributor 15. The shutter plate 22 blocks a distribution feeding passage 21 for the ink from the distributor 15 to the heads 61a by a predetermined timing.
