PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize manufacture of a sheet-type electric double-layer capacitor, reduced in affection due to the generation of internal gas, low in internal resistance, and large in a capacity. SOLUTION: In the manufacture of the sheet-type electric double-layered capacitor, a housing is sealed, while pressurizing the same in the laminating direction of an electrode and a separator. Alternatively, the electrode and the separator are pressurized in the laminating direction thereof after sealing the housing.
