PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power saving circuit which can suppress the abrupt change of an output of a converter circuit even if overheat is detected from the converter circuit. SOLUTION: Transistors 31 of detecting circuits 17-19 are normally turned on. When the temperature of a thermistor 12 is raised, the transistor 31 of the detecting circuit 17 is turned off, and an IC control voltage is raised by a predetermined voltage. Further, when the temperature of the thermistor 12 is raised, the transistor 31 of the detecting circuit 18 is turned off, and the IC control voltage is raised by a predetermined voltage. Further, when the temperature of the thermistor 12 is raised, the transistor 31 of the detecting circuit 19 is turned off, and the IC control voltage is raised by a predetermined voltage. When the temperature of the thermistor 12 is returned to the original, the transistor 31 of the detecting circuit 19, the transistor 31 of the detecting circuit 18, and the transistor 31 of the detecting circuit 17 are sequentially turned on in this order.
