PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate trouble due to a projection (burr) formed in plastic lens molding. SOLUTION: This optical unit is constituted to incorporate a plastic lens 1 in a lens storage groove 20 so that a burr or projection 1A formed on one surface side of a flange part 10 for incorporating a plastic lens molded by injection molding is removed from a lens storage groove 20 of a lens barrel 2.
