PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid crystal module tester accurately and efficiently testing a liquid crystal module, and to provide the liquid crystal module. SOLUTION: Since OSD image data are stored to ROM 42 of the liquid crystal module 10, and a plurality of test patterns can be displayed by a single body of the liquid crystal module 20, by only receiving the transmission of a remote control signal from a remote control signal transmitting part 60 by the liquid crystal module 20; a display pattern necessary for each test/adjustment is displayed to be automatically switched in each test station 71, by only mounting the liquid crystal module 10 in a test process line 70. Thus, the liquid crystal module tester dispenses with the process of connecting an exclusive substrate 110 and an image data generating unit 120 needed only for the test/regulation and a process for switching the test pattern, by operating prescribed equipment by a worker, whenever the test content changes each time test/regulation are performed in each base of the liquid crystal module 10.
