PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the measurement accuracy of the characteristics of an object to be tested by suppressing generating vibration in a high speed dynamo apparatus with a low center height. SOLUTION: The dynamo apparatus comprises a body base W, a dynamo D fixed to the base W, and the bracket B of the object to be tested, wherein the rotation shaft 5 of the dynamo D and the rotation shaft 6 of the object coupled to the bracket B of the object are concentrically connected via an intermediate bearing unit U, a torque meter T, and diaphragm couplings J<SB>1</SB>, J<SB>2</SB>, and then output characteristics such as a generated torque, when the object is a motor M and generated power when the object is a generator G, are measured.
