PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid discharging apparatus which can reduce a necessary floor area in comparison with the case where liquid discharging heads are arranged in parallel, because a plurality of liquid discharging heads are made to overlap stepwise. SOLUTION: The plurality of liquid discharging heads of the liquid discharging apparatus are arranged to be able to discharge in the same direction to a material to be recorded from nozzles along a second direction in which a relative position to the material to be recorded moves.
