FLAME-RETARDANT POLYESTER RESIN COMPOSITION

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a flame-retardant polyester resin composition that is a nonhalogen and has excellent high flame retardance, mechanical properties and heat resistance free from bleedout and reduction in phosphorus amount of flame retardant even when a molding is exposed to a high-temperature state. SOLUTION: The flame-retardant resin composition having the properties is obtained by adding an organophosphorus-based flame retardant represented by general formula (I) (n is an integer of 2-20) to a polyester resin (A) during melting and kneading but not in the polymerization process of the thermoplastic polyester resin (A).
