PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an oral composition excellent in improving stability of a water-insoluble noncationic bactericide with time, eliminating dental plaque, preventing halitosis and in eliminating tooth-staining substances. SOLUTION: This oral composition compounded with porous calcium carbonate suppresses decrease in the bactericidal activity of the water-insoluble noncationic bactericide such as triclosan and improves stability of the activity.
