<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processor capable of minimizing the occurrence of a texture without ausing any side effect that a rough feeling is increased due to the reduction of the texture resulted from the addition of a noise. <P>SOLUTION: The candidate of an output image pattern in a certain hierarchy is generated, and a texture is evaluated concerning the generated candidate of the output image pattern, and the output image pattern in the hierarchy is decided based on the evaluation result of the texture, and dither generation processing is operated by using the decided output image pattern. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
