摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing an injection molding resin excellent in dispersion stability of a polymer and capable of enough producing effects of various kinds of functional additives, and to provide an optical element made of a plastic, together having a good optical refractive index and an optical characteristic with high precision and capable of sustaining them for a long time. SOLUTION: This method for producing the injection molding resin comprises a polymerization process for polymerizing a monomer in a solvent, so as to obtain the polymer, a solvent removing process for removing the solvent after adding at least one kind of the additive selected from a lubricant, a surfactant, an ultraviolet absorber, a light stabilizer, and an antioxidant to the polymer, and a heating process for heating the polymer from which the solvent is removed, so as to obtain resin pellets, wherein inorganic particles having an average particle size of≤100 nm are added to the polymer, after the additive is added to the polymer.
