<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a safety device with an air bag arranged together with a supporting device on the inside of a vehicle, in other words, on the side of a crew member facing to the inside of the vehicle or the side of a vehicle seat facing to the inside of the vehicle. <P>SOLUTION: The safety device of the vehicle can expand in order to protect a crew member sitting on the vehicle seat particularly when an accident and a dangerous circumstance occurs. The safety device has an air bag which can expand and develop on the side of the crew member, and a supporting device which operates so as to prevent or reduce a lateral movement of the air bag when the crew member plunges into the air bag. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
