<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To smoothly expand a function by selecting a desired package without duplicating the package in which the function is already expanded. <P>SOLUTION: A composite machine acquires registered package information from a package delivery server 104 and displays an application management screen relating to a package name included in this registered package information and a status 122 showing whether the package is installed in the composite machine 100 on a touch panel 111. In the touch panel 111, if there is a down load request which specifies the package, the package is down loaded from the package delivery server 104. Further, the information relating to the package in which a plurality of package delivery servers 201, 201 are respectively registered, unify.
